Not sure about DRG anymore

I've been playing FF14 for almost a year now and started out as a lancer and went to DRG because it's my favorite but, now it seems I die to easily in dungeons and raids even if I read up and implement the mechanics of it all. All I seem to do is die now and it's frustrating me. Maybe I don't understand DRG as much as I thought but should I change classes? I mean I know DRG isn't the best class but I just feel very confused now. Help me please.

Definitely need to just play and get better. Your class doesn't really affect you getting exploded regularly. That tends to be a player issue. Check your gear level make sure its up to date. Make sure you are using your skills right. Etc.
