Assuming everyone has school/work to survive? We can't play when we come home cuz queue times are 5 hours of waiting? OH and if you have to use the bathroom and you get a 2002 error and ur queue goes from 69 back to 5,600 because you didnt come back fast enough? Square Enix you should have made a few servers a long time ago to prepare for this knowing that Asmongold brought a shitton of people recently and the influx of players every expansion. Wish I never bought this game so I didnt have to feel like this. What else is there to play anyone?

A few things and this is not an attack or anything, just some counterpoints as it were. 15$ a month is actually kind of standard for mmo's and for a lot of other games with subscription or battle pass type systems.

I get the queue sucks, believe me, I do. As for servers, there is kind of a chip shortage at the moment due to covid, which just so happened to unluckily coincide with the.. let's be honest slow fall of WoW, so, an influx of players that honestly, wasn't expected, happened, let's be real, who actually would have pegged 2021 as the year wow began to hemorrhage players to a different MMO? It's a lot of seemingly unrelated things that have all clumped together to form one big server congestion.

Now, onto your question...what else is there to play, well, if you have a switch I recommend a nice pokemon diamond or pearl nuzlock run, if you have a PlayStation, bloodborne, spiderman, god of war, the list goes on for good titles there.

and for pc, Guardians of the galaxy is good for a few hours of distraction, it's pretty solid IMO, with fun gameplay, funny dialogue. Phasmophobia just got a nice new update as well. Warframe has the new war launching on the 15th, which should be interesting at the very least. if you like space flight sims, Elite dangerous can scratch that itch, if you seek an MMO, elder scrolls online is supposed to be pretty fun, it all depends on what type of game you are looking for, I can come up with a host of recommendations

I...I kind of liked the avengers game, yeah the actual live service bit was horrendously done, but the story segment was decent. though, I will say Crystal Dynamics while good at story-driven content, were not the devs to go to for a live service co-op game. Hopefully the addition of the old Marvel heroes devs can make a difference in the next year or so.

I pay them about 45 dollars a month since have 2 accounts and pay for 9 retainers. I week that 6.0 been out only got to play maybe 6 hours from the queue time. Today at 4pm pst. the queue is 3894.

Well, I guess the 70-80 isn't that bad, since I've gotten most of the way there just playing an hour or two in the mornings, but...

SE has been more than generous with the time they've given us for free. We have several messages explaining things, and they even warned us all about what could and will go wrong at launch. I understand the frustration, but perhaps the time off from FFXIV might do you good, and you can come back feeling better when things have become more stable.
