Disconnect - Returning to Start of 4k Queue

As I said in another thread, this game needs disconnect protection similar to how other games work. If you DC and log back in within a few minutes, your moved to the front of the line so you can get back in.

They would need to make sure that being disconnected via afk puts you back in the normal queue but an internet failure or pc crash should be recoverable.

Unfortunately, my issue is more of a once per day IP reset by my ISP rather than a 2002 problem. I simply disconnect.

FWIW, and somewhat belatedly, it might still be worth trying a VPN. There are a number of gaming-focused VPNs out there where it won't drop the connection on the other side right away, meaning that if you have the VPN set to automatically reconnect, you might have a 'hiccup' where your net froze, but then as the VPN came back up the connection would unfreeze. Even though the IP you have has changed in that case, the IP on the other side of the VPN -- the IP that the FFXIV servers see, in other words -- hasn't.
