asking for registration code again

so i was playing ffxiv earlier like an hour ago and logged off to eat when i came back and tried to log on it was asking for my registration code. i cant find the code . i obviously registered it and been playing endwalker. so is it fine if i skip or is there another way to get the code again and re enter it

It probably depends on how you ordered the expansion. If you ordered it on the Square Store (as I did), you can find the order in your order history, get the order details, and select the option to see your unlocked keys. The Endwalker expansion key should be listed as well as the pre-order key (which you wouldn't need any longer). Take the full unlock key and enter it onto your account via the Mog Station.

For me, Endwalker was a gift bought by a friend who is no longer with us so there'd be no way of getting to their email. Does this mean I simply don't have Endwalker anymore?

Been playing for several days after entering code on Mogstation, log in today and the launcher asks me for reg code. Click "later" and it takes me to the Mogstation (in the LAUNCHER!!!!) with no way to get back to the normal launcher or to launch the game. Had to close the launcher.

What a garbage dump their services are. The new Mogstation makes everything harder to find (basic info is now 2-3 clicks away). Such a terrible web team over there.

Check your email. The code you entered previously was just the beta code. Yes, this is stupid. Yes, if their web services were up to par, this step would not be needed. Yes, scalefast is a shill-company used to skirt laws and separate legal entities. It's all bullshit and probably the most anti-consumer thing SE does. This scalefast BS is so bad for the game. Why this isn't actually integrated with my game account is abhorrent.

This process was total shit and I have lost so much faith in the ability for SE and BU3 to provide web services. After Marvel's Avengers, Outriders, and a couple purchases from Scalefast, SE has lost over 20 years of goodwill in the span of a year. Such a waste.

yeah i did both keys thats why i was confused on why they were asking for it again. i went to my email and while i was looking for the email they sent me a new email with a new code. so i was able to get back on luckily

not sure to be honest, never did the gift thing. but hopefully it will send the email with the code to your email connected to your account. might want to contact square enix just in case to make sure.

How was the game purchased? If it was through Steam, go to Steam's site to retrieve your code. If it was through SE, it will be in your account page. If your friend just gave you a code...um, hopefully it wasn't written on a napkin then tossed. But, if all else fails, contact SE support.

But, how did you get the code in the first place? This makes me scratch my head....if he sent it to your email, then 1+1 = 2. Seriously, there has to be an origination of where the code was written/send.

That's odd. I remembered getting one last week saying they'd send another with the new key on Tuesday, but I don't recall getting that email. I got back in by the steps I outlined earlier. Glad you was able to get back in, though.

Steam has my CD-Key and when I input it, it tells me my CD-Key has already been taken... Anyone else?

Make sure you're grabbing the right cd-key. There are two. One is your pre-order of EW key and other is your official CE of EW key.
