In Game Audio sounding flat/off-key

I've been having issues with the audio in game lately. It started with the voices during cutscene sounding muffled, so I adjusted the BGM audio. Now the music and all sound effects sound flat. I have a Razer headset (I believe it's the Kraken, I know it's not the Nari). I even bought that Immerse Gamepack to see if that would help and it definitely did not.

What is going on, and how do I fix it?

EDIT: I'm attempting a fresh install of the game. I've tried adjusting every setting I can think of on my PC, I've tried using different headsets on different ports, and it's ONLY FF that's affected. Music players/iTunes/YouTube are all unaffected. I'm near tears at this point. The audio distortion is so bad it's nigh unplayable bc everything sounds like it's a fun-house horror situation.

There's a bunch of sound problems ever since EW launch since they overhauled the sound engine, from popping to flat out not even working at all. I doubt a reinstall on your end would do much sadly, you can try to read the other audio issues threads and try the possible fixes but they didn't seem to work for most people. I myself have a problem where half the sound effects just disappear during FATEs and hunts especially, and sometimes the game launches without any sound effects so I'm no stranger to this.

do you have that new Spatial Audio checked on

I tried it with and without the new spatial audio, and with and without Windows Sonic Sound on and off, and with a brand-new headset thinking maybe my old set was going out. Nothing is helping really. Everything sounds off key. It's infuriating because I wasted an entire day reinstalling the game and tried to get in only to be met with a 4500+ queue.

I really hope this gets addressed... I wouldn't mind having dropped the $16 on the new spatial thing they overhauled the engine for, if it didn't break everything in the first place. It sounds so bad and the sound is so integral to the experience... I have to say why fix what wasn't broken...?
