I pre-ordered Endwalker, started playing it, now it's saying I don't own it.

I purchased the expansion, it's an issued statement in my bank account with the £29.99 taken out of my account. However, when I check the purchase history in my account there's no mention of it? I was playing the expansion for several days during the early access going to the various new locations. Now it's saying that I don't own the expansion at all? I also bought a potion of fantasia drank it, and it doesn't give me the option to re-edit my character, with my character showing up as blank with all criteria in the main menu appearing as '???'. No idea what's going on and am just eager to play the game. All items where purchased directly through mog-station and square enix's store, I don't own the game on steam and I am using the official launcher etc.

I used steam. If you did too, right click ff and choose manage.. cd keys.

Yep had the same problem trying to log in this morning. is there another option of finding key if you didnt buy it on steam?

Ok so for anyone who has steam. You need to make sure you copy the correct key when you copy text to clipboard. It will not copy the correct one. Just look at your steam keys and just input the Endwalker Collection edition key into the mogstation. You would click on Endwalker registration in the mogstation and then enter the code there and you should be good. It just worked for me.

I feel like a dummy but assumed copy to clipboard was copying the correct key since it was highlighted when copying.

I went to the website where I purchased the game, went through like I was going to purchase it again, and it showed me the games linked to my account. Endwalker was there with a little red button next to it that said "Show registration codes" or something like that. I clicked on that and it showed me the Early Access and regular registration codes. That's how I found mine anyway...

I suspect because it's logistically easier in the use case where someone pre-ordered, got the key (because there are in-game items that you are awarded immediately), and then cancelled their pre-order. Those who cancelled would have not received the subsequent key to unlock the full expansion.

Had this happen to me today, too, (after buying the expac back in May... >.>). If you purchased the expac from the Square Enix Store, (https://store.na.square-enix-games.com/ or whatever region you're in) if you log in to that website again, (may need to reset your password if you don't remember it - it's not the same as your regular game login / the Mogstation) in the upper right, you'll see your name, (/store alias) with a down-carat, (i.e. "^" but pointing down) next to it. Click on it, and "My Orders" and it'll take you to your purchase history, and for every expac you've purchased, there's a red "See Unlocked Key" button - press that and you'll be taken to another page that shows both your early access key, which you don't want, and your activation key, which you do. Open up Mogstation in another window / tab, and pretty sure on that initial "Service Account Dashboard" page, there's an "Enter your Endwalker key" (or something similar - doesn't show it anymore once you've done, so can't say precisely what it says, but it's an image of Endwalker) type in the code from the page with the two Endwalker keys and it should now show your account with a checkmark next to Endwalker. Unfortunately, it doesn't update your status while you're in the game, so you have to log out and go back to the end of the line yet again and/or try again another day if you can't get in at all, (*sigh*) but theoretically, at least, you should be up and running after this. If that's not the case when I finally get back in, (been a half an hour now and still have a long way to go before I decide to throw in the towel for another day) will update this with any further info. Good luck, (and holy heck, Square, it really is time to get your stupid back end systems to actually talk to each other directly - granted, this isn't anything like the nightmare of FFXI's back ends, but really - it is 2021 - time to do the work ;P ).
