Play something else while you wait for queues?

Heres an idea though....while you wait your turn in line, go do something. Clean, make a snack/cook, take care of homework or housework. You have a computer or smartphone on the side? Watch some youtube and stuff.
There is lots you can do on the side while you can wait for the que.

all these things you are suggesting are a given for any adult, you think anyone doesn't do those things anyway? I have my shit together and my house in order.

Also you do know it's take anywhere between 4-8 hours to even get into this game right?

They were time-wasting suggestions of things you can do instead of staring at the screen and watching the Que slowly go down.
Something more healthy, and a better use of your time.

And no I dont. The Biggest Que Ife had was 4,567, and it took only 'about' an hour. to get in.
Now as things are calming down, Ive been getting a max of 2,127, and a minimum of 1 thousand. And now it takes between 10-20 minutes to get in.
Maybe its just our datacenters

its not 1h not in twintania, it actually takes 2h+ for 4-5k also u cant blame the guy for being upset people barely have 1h to themselves let alone wait 2h in queue and actually need to watch said screen cause there are high chance he will get kicked from queue cause of their server .

true the lunch isn't as bad as people claim cause the servers are alive and in game its all smooth play but if 10000 people get to play while the 100000 cant and stuck in login queue ultimate that need to babysit cause the servers will enter enrage and kill their queue times ,it fair that they demand their money cause they cant get what they paid for which is to play and asking them to wait and justify it is just trying to be white knighting out of spite.

but it is true that its not worth to get mad at the lunch and simply talk to customer support for refunds if you are that mad OP but the lunch itself is much better going then what was expected to happened which is the servers to burn and no players would be able to play at all.

I have had the exact opposite experience, to be fair. I've never gotten back in where I was.

It's a timing thing with the client, if I remember right, and I think you've just managed to get the timing right. I don't really know the technical details of it, I just know you have a chance of getting back into your old spot in line if you log back in within a certain timeframe.

Hello, I'm not one to attack folks so please assume good intent with this comment (it looked like you genuinely wanted an answer so hopefully I didn't read your response intent incorrectly lol).

Yoshi P just explained it in today's update; he said this- "Even if you are temporarily disconnected due to Error 2002 at times of such instability, the lobby server will continue to wait for a few tens of seconds to a minute for your connection to be restored. If you are able to get back online and reconnect to the lobby server quickly, you will be able to queue up again from the middle of the queue. After a certain amount of time, the connection will be completely lost, and you will have to join the end of the queue."

I can attest to this. I got kicked this afternoon and was met with a 4k+ queue. In less than an hour I've received Error 2002 3 times. I've been able to log back in quickly and queue at my previous point; however.. this requires babysitting as the poster you quoted mentioned. This can be tricky.. especially if you don't have the remote desktop options set up. This can be truly annoying AF (and I'm a long time MMO player of FF series so I'm used to getting kicked.. waiting.. for the games I LOVE). On a brighter note, my room is looking pretty dang spotless now... next up... I'm going to scrub the F out of my kitchen while I wait lol!
