SPOILERS Questions I still have about the MSQ.

I guess I missed it but how did zodiark prolong the final days? If the final days are caused by meteion. I am assuming, meteion cause the stagnation of aether? Then zodiark filled that aether.

Also just curious but how did venat at the time have the power to sunder people . She wasn't hydaelyn yet. Not only did she spilt everyone, but she also created individual words. I guess any of the convocation members could have done this? It also seems in the cs that they didn't even sacrifice themselves yet, it seemed to me that venat interrupted them.

Later in the story after we face off vs vent/hydaelyn. Krile later see a glimpse of the final days that might come to sharlayan. So i guess that once bless with the echo you keep the echo even if said being is no more? or does this indicate that hydaelyn still lives?

These were just so holes that maybe I just spaced out on or missed and was wandering if anyone had any insight.

Meteion would pierce through the weakest areas of aether to affect the ancients. Zodiark strengthened those across the world preventing her from getting in.

I think the sundering scene was less of what actually happened and more of an abridged, "I tried to make them see reason and not sacrifice any more lives, but they refused. So I became the blade that would Sunder everything, seeing it as the last option."

The Echo, as explained by Venat back in Elpis, is basically using aether to either peer into somebody's soul when they're remembering something, or using the leftover ambient aether to piece together what happened. Krile, like the WoL, has no real control over it due to having far less aether control compared to the ancients.

Concerning zodiark, the reason why final days happened is because of dynamis which can be amplified with feeling, and meteion channeling her despair through this dynamis to our star, this dynamis can only be strong if there is less aether, zodiark existance strengthen the power of aether that makes dynamis weaker so meteion cant channel her despair since it is blocked by zodiark, zodiark's death weaken the aether thus making dynamis appear and meteion can channel her despair again thus the final day begin again

Zodiark basicly pumped masses of aether as a shield around Etheirys, blocking the effects of Dynamis, since more aether means less effect of dynamis.

Creation magic is so powerful and everyone could have done it, but no one wanted to do it, most likely due to the backlash.

The Echo is not tied to Venat/Hydealyn themself. It is a permanent warding spell indipendent from the caster, primarly protecting from aetherial corruption, the precog flashes are a sideeffect for sundered souls but a normal ability for the ancients.

Thanks ravor! Makes sense. I just couldn't piece it together. Especially about the dynamis being weaker than aether. I remember that now!

Another way to describe it... if you watched Highlander the quickening (Yes I know we real Highlander Fans don't acknowledge it's existance... Like the movie the Last Airbender) but it created a giant pink ugly shield of aether (that can't be seen thankfully) around the planet.

My biggest question is this: If aether is the only thing that protects from Dynamis, how does running away in a vehicle away from the only aether souce (Etheirys), help at all? It seems like that would leave them all more susceptible to Medeion and Dynamis. Seems like their only option is to try to stop Dynamis or they're doomed regardless.

This is something I pointed out when first playing through the MSQ. It's also something Venat knows and why the very idea of fleeing the planet makes no sense as a plan she would come up with. It makes sense for Sharlayans to think of it though.
