Stone Vigil hard cannon help

Ok I love this dungeon except cannons because I can’t shoot the cannons at all. I’m failing my group and I don’t know how to fix it. I’m using a ps5 controller. Can someone help me figure out why I can’t shoot the bottom cannon button?

My problem is I don’t how to fire the cannon on a controller.

You select the cannon, make sure you actions change at the bottom. 2 action 1)is damage and should be used to damage boss and attack enemies who are attack your teammates. The cannon can't shoot near itself. 2)a stun. It should be used when the turtle is doing the room wide aoe. When the turtle is in it she'll it reflects all damage so don't hit it.

Lastly to target with the cannon press the button you wanna fire once and use your left stick to move the targeting ring around. Once you have it where you want press the same button again to fire the weapon. I would focus target the turtle so you can see if he has reflect up. But the cannons take a double click to fire once to open target an once again to fire.

Target and "activate" the cannon. That should change your hotbar to only 2 or 3 actions, and those actions are the cannon shots. Then you press your cannon shot of choice which brings up a ground target reticle that you aim at the boss, then press X and it'll fire.

I thought I had to press o and o again but I found out it’s o and x.
