    I'll have to look at the abilities I'm using as I'm sure they are not all as they are cracked up to be.. Just seems to be so much harder to actually complete the synthesis than it is to get the HQ bar up.

    Not portraying myself as the resident expert on synthesis, but this is what I found works best for me, and why. I realize not everyone will have all these abilties, but there are other combos or abilities available to you that might mirror this approach. Notice that Perfection has been nerfed twice, dramatically, in the last 2 patches - to the point where I don't even use it.
