I think most people will agree with you here. The queues suck, but my god 2002 is pretty unforgivable. Please SE at the bare minimum fix the login servers so error 2002 never occurs.
We don't want to have to nurse the launcher for hours just to find the split second we decided to not pay attention error 2002 occurs and you only have less than a minute at times to log back in before you are back at the end of the queue.

As bad as the queues are they are bearable if you were safely able to leave the launcher to its own devices and watch that queue go to 0 and you're in the game.
I haven't been disconnected once yet in EW once in the game itself but the login servers have given me error 2002 countless times.
For those who don't know what error 2002 is:
"If you are logging on during the prime time you may run into this error while trying to connect to your data center. The error is caused by the servers being overloaded. According to a post from Square Enix, a single data center can only handle around 17,000 players trying to connect at once."
To put this into perspective the Primal DC and specifically Behemoth has queues during peak time of perhaps 5.5k-6k. Multiply this by 8 servers and and you would have 48k players in the queue. Even if SE manages to provide backup servers that raise this limit to 21-22k its still a far cry from what is needed and yes there are variances between servers but even so on Primal at least were looking at over 30k players.
I really hope they can address this quickly somehow.
