No more races until Hrothgar & Viera are up to standard. If they waste another 2 years implementing a new race (again) instead of fixing the issues with the previous ones I'll go ballistic.
Square Enix have extorted money from Viera and Hrothgar's limitations, but from the outside looking in it seems barely any of that money is invested back into the limited races. How much money have they made from players
fantasia'ing to and from the limited races? We want more race-exclusive hair.
We want them improved, and we want it done within a reasonable time.
I dont think we'll ever get to play as any non-humanoid race.
But Fashion Items to 'transform' into beast tribes temporarily would be pretty awesome honestly. Even if we cant attack or anything
I hate to tell you this, but that probably won't happen. Unless you want SE literally recreating every single piece of headgear in the game.
But the Moon Bunnies are humanoid. Specifically extra short Lalafells with a custom head and a cotton ball tail. The only downside is, you run into the same problem as the Hrothgar and Viera, but the majority of work is already done.
True, they'd probably be easier than playable Namazu. I'm sure there are a few extra issues that'd arise but they're certainly closer to humanoids than most creatures. Playing through the MSQ as one would not make much sense though, which might add an extra layer of reluctance to doing the work. When added to the complaints they'd get for more aesthetic variants I can't see them doing it as a full playable thing.
But it WOULD be fun.
