mog station name changes?

Has there been any news on when this will be functional? I know it's probably not a big priority for right now but I was curious if there's been any word addressing it. I looked and couldn't find anything.

This is just a backwards way of handling the issue. They should let people buy the namechanges, then allow them to use them when the queues are shorter. Set a threshold for that, instead of just making EVERYONE wait, because of the super congested servers. Maybe even log people into the least congested server in their data center, when using the name change? There are solutions, perhaps impractical, since I don't know the architecture of their servers, but that seem simple enough in concept.

The thing is, there's no way of knowing for sure because we're not getting any official feedback on the concerns, or an ETA for some solution, or anything. Just a false error message saying it's site maintenance when it isn't. I love this game, have played this game far too much, and have a ton of goodwill for the devs and the staff, but it feels like the situation is just being ignored.

Since this isn't THAT serious of an issue in the grand scheme of current problems, I hope its not too much of a derail to comment that I have never seen another game where their forum participants get so triggered by duplicate threads. Hell, in WoW right now, every single thread on the first page of their forums is the same topic lol
