2002 errror after an hour and half in queue/need more compensation at this point

Primal- Ultros, in the queue for an hour and a half and received a 2002 error. Logged right back in and lost my spot in the queue! Come on guys, I am paying for a service here. While I understand there are long waits this simply cannot happen. This has been out for 7 days and there is no improvement on any of it. You gave a week's compensation but at this point, nothing has been resolved even since the early release which I didn't even get to play because of all this. It's one thing to ask someone to be understanding, it's simply another to think that it's a good idea to keep charging someone based on the current state of everything. When are we going to see a stable queue even if it's a long queue where we don't have to babysit it all the way through. When are you going to implement a patch where we don't keep getting exited from the software after a 2002 error and having to log back in completely with the software instead of kicking us out to the main screen and then having us try from there? Your best bet is to follow in the footsteps of WoW here which I have not played in several years but have the login within the game itself and not in the startup screen. You are causing frustration that is not needed that the spotlight shines brighter on with what is currently going on with the servers that you can fix. The 2002 and not being kicked out of the software both need to be priority fixes for someone who has already been in the queue. The 2002 error should only occur to someone trying to enter the queue when it is full! Do we have any ETA of something to be implemented on these things?

Agreed, just waited 3 hours only to get a 2002 at 300, now I'm back to 4k. I have now unsubbed cause I am not paying for a game any longer that I cant play.

I mean, it's a pretty simple situation...

We're paying a subscription for a service we literally cannot access... Long waits are one thing but we can't actually DO the waiting.

I am about at that point. I enjoy the game; I understand the issues; I sympathize that SE is limited in what they can do, and I appreciate they're being communicative.

However, I'm a parent. I have a 3-hour window at the end of my day to play video games to relax, and I choose to play FFXIV most often. If I could trust that I could sit in queue, I could play other games at least, but because of the random 2002 errors, I have to sit at my desk babysitting the queue, hoping to log back in quick enough that either I'm not getting shot to back of the line (or just not many are lining up behind me, I seem to be retaining roughly my place in queue at least if I can get back quickly).

The worst part too, is that even if I do get in, last night I got a random 90k hard disconnect, and then back to the end of the line. I had finally made it to the 81 dungeon, queued in, and gotten to last boss, and then I ended up having to not just quit, but quit with no progress being made in the time that I COULD play.

I was planning to raid savage with some friends who have all managed to hit end-game already, and I'm at the bloody level 81 dungeon. This is the kind of situation that does make me want to unsub and I get they can't control the volume or when people get on, but there must be things they can modify. Firstly, and my biggest complaint, is why does a 2002 quit the whole game? Can they not kick you back to character select? It'd be really nice if they'd try to auto-reconnect you a couple times first even. Not having to babysit the queue would be a HUGE quality of life improvement.

I agree, que management system seems draconian and amateurish. they need to step up the afks and find some way to address this, they cant just leave it like this for months....

It would seem the only two times I was previously able to play anywhere from 2am - 8 am PST or at 830-10pm PST is not gone. 3k ques now at night. I placed myself in que at around 4pm to eventually get logged in at 7pm I got kicked out at 745pm now in que as of that timer. Currently at 2.8k que.

I'm at a loss at this point. I cant stay logged in the game even if im playing for more than a couple of hours at most. I have people in Disc able to stay in all day and lets not talk about the streamers without issues...

More compensation would be good. Better if it would remember your position.
Started with 3,310 at 13:02, and got 2002-error on 492 in queue 3 hours later. Now I'm even further away on 6,138. And now the queue number doesn't even go down...

But SE (the publisher) could also just not be that horribly cheap. The servers have the worst tickrate I've ever seen in a realtime online multiplayer.

no amount of compensation is going to matter we have to baby sit the que. maybe they should do a proper maintenance to get this fix. trying to patch work it while the servers are running doesnt seem to be working.
