Switching Worlds Queue is ridiculous

This is ridiculous. For more than 10 hours and counting. From a queue that started at 13, I have been waiting to SWITCH BACK to my home world. I went to Mateus just to check prices, I want to go back to Balmung and I am hit with this. Logging into my character doesn't even take this long.
Note: I am number one in queue, and at this point I don't know if it's because people gave up or actually were switched to the world they were trying to get to

until general login queues die down, world visit is not advisable because you will most likely be unable to get back to your own world until the late hours of the night/early morning. people logging into the game take priority over world visit queues.

That’s why they need to re enable server transfer so we can permanently switch to less populated servers instead of world visiting

Pretty sure I saw it mentioned in the 6.0 patch notes that you could log into any server you wanted on your dc without using the in-game world visit option. That way you could log into less populated servers.

It said so yeah although any time I tried that I'd just be told the World Visit feature was down. Perhaps that's changed.

Do it after 11pm or before 3pm and you'll be fine. BUT that doesn't mean you will be. World visiting might be bugged to where going back to your home world is treated the same way as visiting another world -- meaning maybe it's possible you're not getting priority at all. That would suck if that were the case :P
