    Questions on Cutter's Cry bosses

I have some idea on how these two boss fights work, but I just wanted more information since I was in a pickup group in my first boss run last night that had "ideal" job setups. I've been thinking of trying CC with my LS sometime this week and we have a mix of jobs so it would be useful if anyone could answer these questions.

For Myrmidon Princess, does she have any damaging frontal AOE moves? If she doesn't, we could just have melee DD stand in front of her so it would be easier to start AOE combos when the Guards appear.

For Chimera, I heard he has either a rear Poison aura or weaponskill that can be disabled by breaking his tail, leaving a safe spot for the DD out of range of any of his breaths. Does it take a lot of work to break the tail, and should we have minimal DD on the tail or have everyone able to damage it working on it at the same time?

Also, would it be safe for mages/bard to stand behind him once the tail is broken?

    Thanks for any advice.

    princess have frontal aoes
chimera have a poison move, aoe near his tail (usually use it when someone have hate behind it, even not red). I don't know other jobs, but it could be incapacitated with dragon kick. A lone mnk incap tail at 3° dragon kick.

Does incapacitating the tail keep it disabled for the remainder of the fight, or does it come back?

DDs shouldn't be in front of the princess outside of combo-ing anyway, if it's easier use DRGs for Ring of talons/legsweep combos to handle Guard/adds.
Make note that the Marshall should be facing away from everyone else too.

As WAR (DD) I stand in front of princess and use vengeance for the extra DMG from Mandible bite. Then I'll move to the sides for AA.

All Chimera's parts grow back. We've tail and ram head, only to have them reappear and use their respective attacks.
That dungeon is pretty cake if you just run all black mages:|

Not everyone has all jobs or a desire to level them and no matter how much the players whine, fights are fine with mixed setups with some practice and competent players. The dungeon itself is easy no matter what the setup is once you know what order to kill stuff.

Thanks for the information everyone. I had another question, is Voice of the Dragon some weird Conal Donut or is it a straight Conal AOE move? I ran with a pickup yesterday and me and the other whm and brd got hit by it (The tank's positioning was slightly off). The next time he did it again I was right next to the other WHM (not in top of him, directly next to him) and I was the only one that got hit by it.

@ Leoheart: He doesn't have any enmity reset as far as I know, but my understanding is that he has really high resistance to physical damage so the tank can't get as much hate as they can in fights like Coincounter/Miser's Mistress that have normal defense. If you aren't careful with healing you can outpace their hate from damage. The first few fights I was riding red enmity but I got used to it and can stay in green or yellow now.

the tail does not grow back, the heads grow back kinda fast. Ive heard if you incap everything the heads will stay down for an extended period of time but never tested it..

    Awesome stuff, thanks.
I've only ever been whm/blm to the fight, but it always turns on us around 70%ish before he finishes us with Breath of the Dragon Lol.
Should be fine after some practise though.

VotD is a circular donut AoE. You wont get hit by it if you are in melee range (and even a bit further). You also wont get hit by it if you are at max casting range. It only hits people in between.
