(Serious Question) Why does the ffxiv community HATE Midlander Hyur Females so much?

I notice a lot of people in the game will make comments about how hyur mid girls are
“Generic”
“ditzy”
“Annoying pretty girl”
“Annoying run animation”
“Ugh the crafter race”


Anyone know why the hate for them? Personally Viera, middies, and cats are my favorites.

The only complaint i've ever seen about hyur midlander females was the princess run...and that was years ago... You projecting out there?

Never seen such insults either. At most I've seen people say they dislike the run animation, but that's not insulting, just expressing dislike.

I’ll chat through discord voice chat with my friends while we chill and play ffxiv, they often say that about Hyur middies and I never understood it personally lol. I also remember the old “princess run” insult, my goodness…

I’m a female hyur and I absolutely never heard other adventurers roast us like that. If anything I get told how gorgeous my avatar is. Also love love love her princess run. Hehe.

I also like highlander girls, but their default pose doesn't appeal to me, so it's tough to make glam that's not for tanks or phys DPS that looks great.
