Add another complaint! Just tried to order through the website, very quickly got a green check mark, but no promo code in the order summary. After reading the horror stories I decided to chat up their CS before placing order, because you can't add in the promo code afterwards! Already learned that mistake a few days ago, which, yes, was my mistake.
Their rep did verify that their system does suck. Any PROPER ordering system would show a promo code applied BEFORE placing the order, shown as a line item in the order summary. Rep verified that it will only show up on the receipt, if it was applied. And verified that nope, can't add code after order has been replaced. But rep did say that I could cancel the order after getting receipt. I didn't know I had to pray for RNG on an online ordering system.
But, now, all I get is a bad code, and there is still lots of time left until the deadline.
So, somehow I went from a quick green check mark that I couldn't verify actually was applied, to the code no longer being valid. Huzzah!
