Join me in grubhub be damned thread for all the fails. My wife placed an order this afternoon, code appeared to go through but once we got the order we looked at the receipt and it didn't mention anything about the promo. Decided to call CS, the CS rep had no clue about this promo. They talked to their manager I guess, and then came back saying that they ran out of codes and then as an apology said she'd give me a refund. Still not sure if I'm getting the emote or not I DMed the Grubhub twitter asking them to confirm my order and if I'm getting the emote. They said the the free delivery promo ran out but I should still get my emote. Searched around twitter and someone else got GrubHub telling them you had to order pizza (not any other food??) to count. What is going on? Can we please get a clear response on this?

I have no idea what's going on. I went through the promo website and GrubHub applied the code automatically at checkout. It said "Code Applied" when I checked out. I ordered pizza from Round Table. No confirmation that the promo was used on any of my receipts. I got ahold of GH customer service. They told me the code was not applied to my order and gave me a $5 refund.
I'm not ordering again. Guess only 20k people get the emote.
You have to order using the mobile app. I have no clue why.I have no idea what's going on. I went through the promo website and GrubHub applied the code automatically at checkout. The Lodestone specifically mentions you have to order on the app. Though, with how this promotion has been so far, it would not surprise me if that was not the case.
"Order at least $15 worth of food (before tax, tip, and fees) and use promo code ENDWALKER at checkout on the Grubhub app."

I created a Grubhub account, and placed an order of $40 on my CC. When I go to apply the code ENDWALKER, nothing happens. It doesn't show up as applied.

I ordered too. Brand new account. Applied the code. No indication it was applied.
Talked to two CSR's from GrubHub. One told me my code wasn't applied and to try on another order. The other told me my code *was* applied but I won't be able to tell.
So....... was it or wasn't it?![]()

Codes are limited! By the word of my Gruhub!

Sorry for the confusion, the first sentence in the terms and conditions state "Limited supply available (expect high demand). FINAL FANTASY® XIV Online “Eat Pizza” emote item codes will be assigned on a first come, first served basis while supplies last."
Unfortunately, that is why it did not apply.

FINAL FANTASY® XIV online pizza emote codes will be sent to eligible recipients via email to the email addresses associated with their Grubhub accounts.

You have every right to be upset, this is not the experience we expect for you. Let me check on the orders to see what I could find out.
Yes the information is correct they where limited and on first come first serve terms, so that would explain why it didn't go through, we apologize that the information wasn't clear enough for you to see, we will take the feedback on that aspect moving forward, but for now what I could offer is a full refudn on both orders considering you only wanted the emote.

I think my code when through because it says I cant apply the code again.

So after 6 orders total, and a lot of money spent on troubleshooting this issue (since neither SE nor grubhub seems to want to help), I figured out something.
The grubhub app takes the code, while the website doesn't. I replicated this with someone else who was having similar issues, and the ENDWALKER code was taken on the app successfully.
To help confirm this, I tried yet another order with the promo code and it said it is no longer accepted. This is something the website never did. The app receipt made no mention of the promo code, but it was itemized on the emailed receipt for $0.00.
So I spent far too much money in order to try to help as many as I can. Please spread the word to use the app, not the website.
I'm not exactly happy I had to spend so much but if I can help others not have problems, it's worth it in the end.
