    No such luck on my end. Was one of the people that ordered first day of the promo through the promo page. Got the green 'ENDWALKER applied!' notification and checked out. Looked through the receipt and didn't see any indication that the promo had been applied.

    Spoke to a 3 reps and had the case escalated twice, and all that ended with was "it looks like the the code never got applied. Best we can do is a refund."

    Please just put this on the mogstation.

    I'm losing patience with grubhub and SE as a whole over this. I put in my order on day 1, ensured the code applied, received a receipt and everything. Never received my code so I've been pestering them here and there. Each time Grubhub would tell me to wait just a little longer or at least 2 weeks before they'd do anything about it. Well now it's 2 weeks later and suddenly they're saying my code never applied. Spoke with SE support who basically said I'm SoL and to contact Grubhub to resolve the issue. So I had to throw all patience out the window and demand for proper assistance... they're looking into it and will apparently email me once they've investigated but they did try to pull the whole "The promotion was limited". Feeling scammed and livid about this whole thing but going to keep pestering regardless...

    Well Grubhub got back to me and told me that I won't get the promotional emote and should've read the fine print, this is the worst promotion ever.

    Still waiting to get mine. Contacted them everywhere. Twitter, by call, and by there text message care thing. None have prevailed. They just told me to wait 24 hours and they put me as high priority to responded. Which is doubtful. Since they told me 48 hours ago they did that now they're telling me 24 hours. TBH I either want the emote or just my money back. The whole reason why I did this promotion was to get the emote. Not to be stringed along like how grubhub is doing now.

    Two people in our house play the game. Even set up a 2nd account so we could both have a chance to get a promo code.
    Delivery people were less than stellar. Food was barely qualified as "hot", and customer support is playing games.

    $30+ down the drain, no emotes.

    First, and last promo for us for sure.

    I had to contact Grubhub 3 times. (TL;DR: I didn't get the emote).

    First contact was made on Dec 19th. They confirmed the code was active and applied on my account, and that I would receive it within the day.
    I waited a few days, and contacted them again on Dec 23rd. The 2nd agent also confirmed assured me I would receive it, (they were having technical issues blablabla) and that I would receive the e-mail with the code in the next 24-48 hours. Of course, that was a lie.

    I then sent an e-mail on Dec 26 to help_me@grubhub.com as someone suggested to do on Reddit, but still hadn't heard back anything so I decided to contact Grubhub again just a few minutes ago. The 3rd agent asked me if I had received any confirmation email for the promo, which I quickly called out on his bullshit because my boyfriend, whom had ordered the day AFTER me and got his code on Dec 17, hadn't received a "confirmation email" for the code either. Only for the order itself. Then, he proceeded to flat out tell me he couldn't see any code applied to my account and that he would apply a 5$ refund....

    Square Enix, PLEASE for the love of Rhalgr, DO NOT do business with Grubhub ever again.

    So I ordered my food which is vastly over paid for mind you.... put in the code, and it failed. So I tried again, failed. I kept going on and on with support at GH. Most of them barely knew what the event was about.

    Finally through my own troubleshooting, I got the code to work. It said successfully applied, it was done. For my troubles?

    A cold meal, no pizza emote, and I haven't touched GH or FF14 since. I'm livid.

    Contact GH one more time and let them know that you're cancelling your account because they don't want to hold their end of the bargain and then proceed to close your account. That's what I will be doing sometime between now and a couple of days. F grubhub. #scam

    Made multiple orders that qualified, didn't get anything. Talked to support 4 times at this point and every time they give me a cookie cutter reply to wait another 48-72 hours before contacting again and that I will receive mine if I give them enough time to process the request.
    Pretty frustrating for a small simple thing like an emote, but at this point with how much time I've had to put into chasing down an answer I'm going to keep bothering support until I get something final from them.

    I ordered 2 seperate order on 2 seperate accounts to get myself and my friend a code each. free delivery and promo-code were accepted for both orders but until today I still haven’t receive a single emote for the two order. I’ve been in contact with grubhub and they keep telling me to wait till the 31st. I still don’t have anything in my mailbox and I will try to contact grubhub care again but this is making me really sad. I really wish SE would do something about it and get it right for everyone who didn’t get their code from grubhub.
