Has anyone else received an emote after the Friday 2PM rollout?
It's been static from SE and GrubHub in regards to the poor execution of this promotion. Customer Support representatives on both sides can't even tell customers the same story.

This ^^For anyone else that hasn't received theirs or was told they won't, since it was not stated in the guidelines, grub hub will refund your full order it appears. They refunded mine today (full refund 48$)after I explained why I even used the service, which comes out of grub hubs pocket not the restaurants at least. I'd recommend others call in to state their case too for that matter if the concern is there, at least a bit of peace of mind as to not be ripped off/scammed out of it by them. I'd love to say "hopefully it sends a msg to them" but given how large they are, refunds would barely make any dent in their earnings.
While I got my emote, which would make no sense if it was first come first serve since I made my order pretty late, I would definitely consider demanding a refund if the only reason why I ordered to begin with was for the emote. I would be claiming false advertisement and state that I would consider performing a chargeback on my credit card, which is generally more of a hassle for grubhub than it is to just give a refund. Even if they could dispute the chargeback and win, if a large number of people performed a chargeback on grubhub, they may end up losing the favor with the credit companies, which can hurt them a lot more than not issuing the refund as it is the same as a large number of people pointing their finger at grubhub and declaring them to be thieves to the credit companies and banks.
Most of the CS reps at Grubhub are likely just making stuff up; I used to work in a call center and we often were left hanging from our superiors when we didn't know how to respond. Not to mention, they often have a quota of sorts so they generally just want to get through each case as quickly as possible, regardless of how helpful they actually are. So, something serious like demanding a refund or threatening with a chargeback is probably one of the few ways to get attention from someone higher up.

It would be nice for SE to make this right. Endwalker has been one disaster after another at this point.

I ordered my food on the 9th, used the promo code and then had $5 off applied to my order. Placed my order and waited almost 2hrs to get my food, which the wings were ok but they sent me riggin rotten celery. Yea, it was all slimy and brown and gross. But that's on the restaurants end, not Grubhubs. Well, lo and behold didn't get an emote code so I contacted support and the first couple people just told me it was limited quantity. So.. I ordered the first day and they were already sold out, but yet I hear people ordered on day 2 or 3 and they got their codes? Riiiiiight. After I got pushed up to a manager they said I didn't get the code because I didn't apply the promo code. I asked why I then got $5 taken off my order? They told me because sometimes restaurants have their own promos and the $5 off was probably given to me by the restaurant. I asked why the $5 didn't come off immediately then, and only after I APPLIED THE PROMO? Cause, I know I applied it. I only ordered through them because of that promo code! But nooooo, I didn't use the promo code. Frickin lying right to my face!
And some people are saying they got refunded their entire meals, which I would have known to ask for beforehand because I was just offered a $20 code to use on a future meal from Grubhub within the next 30 days, and I am so disgusted with them I refuse to use it (that and I prefer to make my own meals usually, so I don't even eat out that often). I ended up giving it to some friends that like to order through Grubhub. But really, what is wrong with these people? Telling me I didn't apply the promo code in the first place when I know for a fact I did!

That was one of the worse things they tell people to do reorder why would anyone reorder with their expensive prices again just to get the same result cause they can't fix it the first time they screwed up once again big scam Grubhub won't even attempt to contact SE to try and resolve the situation totally giving these guys bad reviews.I didn't get my code either, and on the day of ordering i was told that i need to re-order before the event is over because the fact that I didn't get the coupon accepted was a technical error on their part. I'm going to hope that SE resolves this, once I get confirmation of yes/no I'm cancelling/deleting grubhub. I have no idea why grubhub thought it would be a good idea to scam people over a emote. If they're willing to go to that extent over something so minor, imagine how horrible the rest of their service is? Well, at least I know how bad their customer service is at least. Shady! Never again.

You can always hit them up again and ask for the refund, mentioning how they are essentially committing false advertisement and threatening them with a chargeback if you used a credit card. It's what I would do. Or even just do the chargeback and let Grubhub that the hit from that.I ordered my food on the 9th, used the promo code and then had $5 off applied to my order. i say instead of just asking for a refund, we demand a straight answer from both companies because this has been seen as more a scam and false advertising than what it should have been. SE should be better than this, we deserve better than this. It is expected to see something like this out of grubhub, but SE is not known for this kind of behavior and i think we deserve a straight answer instead of the silence we have gotten.

Why not both? I'd still demand a refund from Grubhub or threaten with a chargeback. Grubhub probably won't care to give you an answer so you might as well do something that would actually make them worry.i say instead of just asking for a refund, we demand a straight answer from both companies because this has been seen as more a scam and false advertising than what it should have been. I clicked the link from Square Enix's own promotional site that brings you to Grubhub and applies the ENDWALKER code automatically at checkout, but the receipt has absolutely no mention of any promotional codes being applied at all. Is this a scam?
I haven't received my emote.
