The GrubHub promo problems

When I try to place an order with Grubhub using the ENDLWAKER code on the app I get this error:


I've tried reaxhing out to GrubHub but both techs I've spoken to have told me to just reinstall the app (purchase must be made via app according to the promo) I have to no resolve. Has anyone else had this problem?

I don't reall feel a need of urgency or anything I was just curious if I was alone in this error and I thought i'd reach out to the community to see if anyone else has been able to fix the issues. I'm not having much luck with Grub Hub support but maybe you all have. So forgive me if i bother anyone or put this in the wrong spot. I dont wish to anger anyone just looking for some feed back or at least comfirmation its not just me.. I guess

I believe I was unable to use the code because I was subscribed to Grubhub+.
Grubhub+ gives free delivery, and the promo code's effect during the game awards is free delivery, so I assume that's why they don't stack.

I had to make a separate Grubhub account to be able to apply the code.

I was coming to check on this myself.

So, I think it's the free delivery too. when the free delivery ends in a few hours, theoretically we should be able to put it thru, but that means you have no food tonight. OR you now have to order twice...

Now if this is a situation where they run out of codes before I get mine, because I already pay for another service, we're going to have issues.

Edit: I was still able to use the code after the free delivery part ended. Tho, I was pretty pissed off that night cause I ended up having spighetti-Os instead of a pizza...

I tried making a separate account. No Grubhub+. Met all the conditions. "This promo code can't be redeemed again."

A few people I know have been unable to redeem the promo code even on new accounts.
I'm guessing it's because the code currently gives free delivery to the first 20,000 orders made during the game awards., and those 20,000 orders were already snatched up.
You'll probably have to wait until after the game awards are over and the promo code just gives the benefit of earning the /pizza emote.

Some FC mates are reporting that GrubHub customer service told them that there's only 20k codes. Not 20k free delivery, but just 20k codes in all.

Someone from SE needs to ring up their pals at GrubHub and find out what's going on.

That's a shame since I meant to order on 12/10 and not sure if worth spending $$$ if I can't have the emote.

I can verify, I was told the same thing. I tried to explain their error in the chat Feedback (politely!) but Not sure what will happen since the promotion is being ran completely wrong. Knowing Yoshi P he won't stand for this and probably just give it to everyone in the game. XD Jokes aside, I hope it gets fixed quick or a lot of people are going to be upset.

I called in to customer service earlier today, and apparently they changed it? So if you ordered with the promo they told me that it should be arriving via the email used on the grubhub account. There’s apparently a delay because of so many people ordering, but it seems like SE fixed the issue. I ordered yesterday at 9:50 pm central, and was told my code should be arriving December 17th
