Is the queue really not moving after 30 minutes?

I'm wondering if perhaps a server failed on Square's end and so the capacity of players allowed on a server dropped, kicking a bunch of people randomly and causing the 3001 errors.

Didn't hear anything about a bunch of people being kicked in-game, but sources on Gilgamesh confirm that people that were in the thousands in queue were allowed in immediately... and just after that the 3001 errors began for at least 20 minutes before people could get back in to queue.

I myself have been in queue for over half an hour at 203 and have not moved. Time will tell.

Makes sense. Mine started moving and now it's going down by 75 a minute, several minutes in a row. Very odd behavior!
