Suggestion for reducing login queues: free Home World Transfer across data centers

I would like to offer a suggestion for the FINAL FANTASY XIV team which could help reduce login queues. It does not require additional servers or engineering effort, and it can reduce the need for additional servers in the future.

The suggestion I would like to make is to resume the world transfer service and offer free world transfers across data centers to uncongested servers.

With the resumption of the Home World transfer service and free transfers, players can transfer their characters worldwide based on which server has the lowest load during their desired playtime. If several thousand players from each server transfer to a server in an off-peak data center, the queue will be greatly reduced.

Based on many players' reported experience, the largest factor in latency is the ISP used by the player and not the geographical location, so latency is not a major factor. Players can use the ping tool to check their latency to each data center before considering a transfer. This would be ideal for players who do not own any housing and are not currently a member of a Free Company.
