    Adding my voice to the thousands of upset players

    I've gotten kicked from queue twice today and been put in the back of the line. It's been 5 hours I've been trying to get into the game and I was down to 1,000 in queue at one point and now I'm back to 5,500. If I have to wait in a queue, I'll wait. But the getting kicked from queue EVERY single time is what's really breaking me down. I resubbed for Endwalker and I feel like I can't even queue and then go do something while I wait for fear of being kicked. I have to wait at my computer for hours to get in and then get kicked anyway.

    I understand that there's no easy answer here, but 8 days after the launch of early access and I think I've only been able to log in 4 times, because I have to work during the day.

    If you can't increase server capacity, PLEASE find a way to stabilize the login server and fix the 2002 error.

    They are working on the errors. They had maintance on the 7th and patched some of the errors. I have not been kicked out of que since then. They are aware there are still some and working on identifying and fixing them. They also increased the max capacity from 17,000 to 21,000.

    They are doing what they can short of getting new servers which is impossible at the moment.

    We realistically need around a capacity of 35-40k at least during peak congestion periods which would require almost double the current capacity to resolve the 2002 errors.

    I understand that they are trying. I understand that this is a major challenge for them. However, as a supporter of this game I'm really struggling to want to continue subbing with the current state of the game.

    I know they've made some fixes, however it has not changed anything for me. I've disconnected from the queue 3 times today and have been waiting 5+ hours and I'm still at the back of the line. It's very frustrating so I wanted to add my voice to the many players who are having the same struggle I am!

    I feel this pain. My partner and I are raising a toddler. The times we're available are only during peak-times. To that end, those times are "peak" for a reason.

    I've repeatedly asked Square Enix Support to partially refund the 6-month subscription we started the 1st of November but they refuse to do so. I've offered pausing the subscription as a solution until they get the additional data centres up. That too has been refused.

    We're not looking for a refund on Endwalker - we wholeheartedly love this game and would re-sub once the DCs are in better shape and we're able to actually, ya know, play. Square Enix taking our money and then failing (for whatever to reason) to provide a refund when the service we purchased is inaccessible is disappointing and indicative of, in our opinion, shady business practices.

    I am 100% with you on that. I don't want to refund Endwalker, but I have requested a refund of my game time so I can resub once the servers have stabilized. I'm not hopeful that they will offer a refund, but if they did I would be one less person in the queue for the next month or two, giving other players a chance to get in!
