Endwalker Fisher Studium Delivery: can't turn in Giant Aetherlouse

"Go with the Flow" I am trying to turn in item collected at the location specified, have collected them, but when i go to turn them in at the studium it says I don't have them.

Not sure if this is a bug, I am doing something wrong, or if there are two separate kinds of said item to be collected at that location. It isnt like a menu pops up as for miner or botanist that allows me to choose to collect the collectible there seems to be no option for that...

My fisher is level 82, gear is 464, gathering is 2021 and perception is 1867

Wondering if i just need to collect for hours until a collectible item happens to appear?

You need to gather them as collectables. I believe Fisher has a skill which enables them to catch the collectable versions of fish after it is activated - they don't get the collect window like MIN and BTN (though they added a minigame for spearfishing).

For fishing, collecting is still a toggle. You have to active the Collect ability first or you'll only catch the non-collectable version.

It was changed to collectibles due to the removal of HQ fish.

I just now attempted to get the collectible, but I caught 6 non-collectible instead. I didn't realize I was supposed to get collectible until I tried to turn them in. So now I wonder where to get them from.

Collectable fish are from the same fishing spot, but require the "Collect" action to be enabled.

Thank you!! I thought I was blind, I couldn't figure out how to toggle and thought I had the relevant 'actions' on my hotbar. But the one I was missing was the collect button, once I saw the hand icon and realized, I about did a forehead slap with my own hand. Thanks much!
