I liked that one. Actually recorded the fight, too, to show someone. It was just that good.
And regardless of duty, Estinien always stands in crap for me(healer). I usually run with him, cat dude and thancred.

I had Alisaie, with the stack marker on her head, get greedy and use corps-a-corps to a crystal add. Clipped just Urianger and Alphinaud with the stack, all three died instantly. Wipe.
One or two of the members did actually end up dying by standing in stuff near the end of the fight. Also noticed that in the start most stand in aoe but start to avoid it later.
Alisaie got me killed twice by waiting until the last moment during the mechanic where everyone has their own AoE to gapclose into the spot I'd been standing in as a melee. 10/10 AI perfectly simulates raiding with a red mage
This is why I both adore and loathe the trust system in equal measures.
Being able to take npcs from the story into the duty with me adds so much extra flavor.. but on the other hand I am not going "OH MY GOD [redacted]!!!!" in a voice call with friends who would otherwise be doing the duty with me. There's one dungeon in EW that is non-negotiable for this, and if you did not use the trust then I don't think we can be friends.
It was interesting running the trial with trusts, because it put responsibility squarely on your shoulders. Don't know if I like it for trials.. Removes the kind of emotion you get from jumping into a fight and then conversing with a bunch of people, freely, because you know you're all at the same point in the story.

I definitely want to see more story mode Trials compatible with Trusts in the future.
