I did the last 2 EW dungeons and both tanks were on-lvl geared but they did seem to take more damage than what ud expect.
Didnt really pay attention to it on trials tho, since they are messy compared to 4man content.

Yeah it happens every single day. A new or returning player, a bad tank, a bad healer, poorly geared, slow, etc. If you pull too much and die, then you pulled too much Lol. The correct amount to pull is the amount that keeps the group from wiping. More is over pulling.
It's the opposite for me. With SCH and SGE, I either have to do barely any healing or proactive stuff like Excog/Haima alobe takes care for the majority of the pull. Tanks (except DRK) have strong self sustain now and it shows.
If you get a WAR, you are straight up useless.
Tanking felt bit squish but I think Tower of Zot trash mobs just have more cleaves among them on top of the fact that given your level your tanks aren't gonna have their OP EW CD augments until 82 (sorry DRK). Thats with my limited tanking in EW. Healing feels the same for me thus far though. Havent leveled Sage yet so idk how that pans out and I'm not gonna begin to judge it till its at least 80.
It's like this every .0 patch. We have this same thread everrry time.
We aren't stacked with savage and augmented tomestone stats. We aren't in mismatched pieces for perfect stat weights. Of course you'll be healing more because we are at our weakest right now.
Give it until the new raid opens and then we'll be back to glaring to our hearts content.

I have had nothing but great experiences with SCH's and SGE's in my dungeons, both in and outside of the 90 ones. I can roll my tank mitigations on PLD comfortably without having to panic spam survivability to stay alive and have yet to have to pop Hallowed in an "oh crap!" moment with either of them.
Haven't seen a SINGLE AST yet, which I find odd.
But WHM? I am legitimately terrified of running 90 dungeons with them now. Every single one has been a bad experience. I always ask at the start of the dungeon how big the healer wants my pull sizes. WHM's ignore me, run ahead of me, rescue pull me faster into more and more packs, even after we experiment with one wall to wall pull and I start getting wrecked. There is 0 reason, as a PLD, that I have to burn through near every single mitigation that I have in one big trash pack. Arms+Reprisal, Ramparts, Veil, Shelltron whenever there's resources for it, Sentinel, and even Hallowed. Holy Circle spam to get more HP. I'm using literally everything in my disposal with the WHM's I've been paired in DF with and yet at most I get a regen tossed on me and *maybe* a Cure II. When asked to slow down, I get blasted in party chat. I had one WHM flat out tell me that I don't need healing, I'm a paladin, and to heal myself.
I must be getting unlucky and drawing the "awful person" lottery prize lately. I'm so discouraged from it. I *love* tanking, I'm a fair tank I'd like to think (Nothing world shattering but certainly competent enough after 2 years of doing it that I can calmly tank dungeons, trials, etc without stinking up the joint), but these last few Expert roulettes I've ran and got paired with WHM's have pretty much drained my enthusiasm for it.

Maining WHM, so far so good here. but I have not got to the 90 stuff quite yet. almost tho.I have had nothing but great experiences with SCH's and SGE's in my dungeons, both in and outside of the 90 ones. The two warrior tanks I had I healed far less than when I was healing Shadowbringers on release. WoW, what is up with their self-sustain OMG O.O
But otherwise as a WHM I put up two HoTs and start Holying. When things get a bit spicy I for example temperance and it's been enough so far with all the OGCDs you get. I think healing SHB was a bit spicier? I dunno. I feel like tanks have a bit more self sustain in Endwalker?
With the two warriors I got their health never dipped below half. I would be readying to bene and their health jumps and I'd bene anyway because I'd REALLY want to use it xD

It'll be nice to feel like a healer again. That's not to say I haven't enjoyed my time as a white mage/scholar/astrologian in the past.
It's just that something was missing. Now, pardon me while I blow the dust off my med kit and inspect my syringes and bandages.
It sounds like I'll be needing to use them.
I'd wager it's more a case of people not knowing how to play their class. I've healed through big pulls plenty fine as long as the tank's using mitigation. Doesn't even need to be overgeared.
MAYBE things have more HP and hit harder, I dunno. I do know that for trials I hardly even have to get healed, but they take sooo long because people are dying 4-5 times each. There's some times where you've got to use AoE heals because of multiple stackers but it's not that big of a difference.
