This same error comes up for me every time when attempting to log in with my main character, but strangely not when logging in with a low-level alt. However, it persists even if I switch to the DX9 version (the error then points towards the DX9 exe, but otherwise looks exactly the same). Have you checked whether it persists when you switch to the DX 9 version of the game?
