    I'm growing anxious and scared because of error inputting EW code

    The early access is ending soon, and I'm still getting the error i2501.

    I have tried everything:
    Using phone data
    VPN ON and OFF
    Incognito
    Switching browsers
    Waiting 24 hours and even more
    Contacting Support

    Is there a way for me to relay this problem? Some people also experiencing this problem. I'm on EU account and they are still suspending live chat and phone contact.

    Email took days to be respond and it is full of copy pasted response and seems to be going on a circle.

    I entered my early access code just fine.
    Why now? I need answer. Human answer, not copy pasted.
    Please mod, or everyone who has contact to the EU support team directly, please help me.

    Please...

    NOTE: I am fully aware that I am inputting my EW registration code, not the early access one!

    I’m in the same boat. Today at 8 PM my time I have to try on my phone with cell service but if that doesn’t work, I don’t know what to do. It’s pretty frustrating to have to lose time on something I paid for and can’t redeem because of a technical error that pertains more to purchasing than redeeming.

    And this error has been plaguing players from long ago as well, from what I found searching around the forums.
    I really hate how their security system works now. The game is very good yet the service side leaves a lot to be desired.

    Hey. This i2501 error can have two reasons: anti fraud detection. Or something is wrong with your account. Maybe a payment got wrong and you have an amount outstanding. And anti fraud detection means that their system assumes that maybe your account has been hacked. This can happen when there are huge differences between login ip addresses etc.

    You should contact the SQEX directly. The GMs can propably not help you.

    I tried again after waiting 24 hours and using my phone with no Wi-Fi but no dice. I called Square Enix and they referenced my ticket from over a day ago about this issue and said I needed to wait another 24 hours for the escalation. I am really, really, really
    hoping they straighten this out before Saturday.

    You're quite lucky you can call them
    My region support centre closes the call service due to pandemic, as they say in the EU support centre
    I can only wait patiently.

    Yeah, unfortunately my chats/calls are just tickets in the same pool, so we're in mostly the same boat, though I can call and ask about it. The answer I get is its being worked on though.

    I'm genuinely not sure. This is the wording from the original post:

    Please register the full FINAL FANTASY XIV: Endwalker registration code before this time to continue playing after the Early Access period.
    Not sure if this means continue playing Endwalker or the game. I'll chat SE and ask for us.

    Square Enix: Yes, you will need to have registered the Expansion to access the characters or any other thing that is related to the Endwalker Expansion.
    Me: Okay so until my escalated ticket is resolved, I can't access the game after today?
    Square Enix: You should be able to access the game, but not the Endwalker Expansion related Items, Characters, etc.
    Looks like its just limited to Endwalker.
