    Same issue here with no responses from Square Enix Customer Support that actually help, and now I too am locked out of logging into my character since he's stuck on Reaper job in an Endwalker area. This is very frustrating and I don't know what else to do at this point, we all are waiting for a solution but it doesn't seem to be coming.

    I have been having this issue since Nov 4 2021, where I was not able to purchase anything from the store; as a result, I submitted a ticket and escalated it at least 4 times, they promised to look into it and solve it.

    Guess what now? I can't put my EW code due to the same error, this is beyond ridiculous. There are no justification for a customer support ticket that take more than a month to resolve, and they just won the community support award.

    I am just speechless, this has been a horrible customer support journey, wish the producers are aware of this incompetent support center/anti-fraud system. I am paying for a service I can't play.

    Had the same issue. Kept getting error i2501 constantly and the support ticket only derived me to the i2501 form.

    I noticed I had my timezone changed to a different time zone due to combability issues with other programs. Swapped back to my own timezone and system locale since that's the one I have registered for my SE account. Restarted my computer and it accepted the key immediately. Try doing that.

    It occurred to me after noticing that the form is asking if I use a VPN, browser updates, date and exact hour of purchases, internet provider, and java.
    If this fixed your issue, please do reply so I can be aware that this is indeed the cause and it has to be one of the dumbest customer issues I've seen in managing something on the scale of product keys.

    Sadly no, even when I asked my friend who lives in the same region where I registered my account to.
    I have tried everything and seems like I have been flagged by some weird error WITH NO EXACT EXPLANATION OF WHAT GONE WRONG AND TRIGGERED THE ERROR.

    I hate how it went like : "Hey you got an error, bye."
    No explanation at all.

    It's sad that this amazing game have bad service and support.
    I even messaged Foxclon/Murouchi on twitter out of desperation, I just want to scream to everyone who works in SQEX, I swear!

    I will, my friend.
    What scares me the most is because I'm not a person living on EU, playing on EU version of the game, on Japanese Data Center.
    Why? because all of my friends (mostly Asian and South East Asian) are here and I for sure can't navigate the web and all of its service in japanese if I registered my account on JP region.
