Copy Character, not transfer for new OCEANIC Servers

Hi, I've been with Final Fantasy XIV, from Storm Blood, I usually stay in Australia, I've had to play on USA servers and have many friends and a guild there now. But I also would like to play my character On the OCEANIC server with my Aussie friends.

Since I cant play across data centers, is there any consideration of copying characters across? I don't mean to suggest to keep gear, no gear would carry across, I just want the achievements and quest progression to remain the same. Id be willing to pay big bucks for that. ( more than boosting)

Current fix is obviously to boost a duplicate of my character and play through the expansion again, but that's a huge time commitment.

It would be really nice to add a paid copy service for getting characters to other data centers. A one time copy that doesn't include the gear or items
