logged in 2 hours ago. only had 1k of people before me. then wile crafting. BOOM. your freaking server kicked me off. for lost connection. Tried to back in. get the freaking 3001 BS. closed out the program and relaunched. now at freaking 3k+.
What I want to know is. why there was not this problem before EW launch. then you took the servers down for 24 hours to patch. now he have these BS long ques. it is as if you actually turned something off and decided not to turn it back on

Now Endwalker launches with the servers already near maximum and they have to deal with the hibernating people returning. I think its pretty much this. I left (not because of content, but personal reasons RL stuff.) more than a year ago and got back and only had two 5.x sections to catch up with before I can start the EW stuff. Its a great game though so people who didn't have anything left but dungeons and market board (from their perspective anyway) came back for the new content.

funny. they can't find more servers. but if you google servers for rent. your get a spit tons of companies that have server farms for rent.

I hate that when you get disconnected it's back to the end of the line for those already been logged in. I guess there wasn't this problem before, because there was a good number of players on break and waiting to return once EW launched. That and the added need to play the new content while it's fresh. I wish it was as simple as an "on/off" switch.

I'm on Faerie as well and I also got booted at the same time. I also had to reload the launcher. I'm also still waiting in line to get back in. It seems to be going faster than it did yesterday. One of the boots yesterday made me wait 2.5 hours with a disconnect from the queue once but I got back in line fast enough. At this point, I'm grateful I made it through MSQ before the disconnects began for me.

funny. they can't find more servers. but if you google servers for rent. your get a spit tons of companies that have server farms for rent.

maybe its just teh IT person in me, but I somehow doubt servers capable of running an mmo are plentiful. plus, they would have to have guarantees of stability and high speed connection capability. otherwise I am sure they could just buy a bunch of Walmart specials and run on those right?
