I get this. I really do. But having seen stress tests done on servers before... this should've been identified. WAY earlier.

keyword there, should, seems big companies want to cut corners these days, (though not a big company) bhvr does PTB (public test beta) but still has bug after bug in their game, but instead of fixing them, put out cosmetics and new dlcs which cause more bugs, blizz, well we know how blizz is, and now SE is kinda going down the same route...

I'm actually worse off now than I was before the maintenance. Now when I get 2002 errors, instead of getting back into the queue where I was, the queue gets larger...so until this is fixed I won't be able to play at all.

This ^^ Its exactly the same for me, longer ques now after maintenance and more 2002 errors.

It's definitely been a bummer with all of the errors. I was just in game a little earlier, fortunately, but unfortunately an error kicked me out. Now I've been stuck at 6000 in the queue for about an hour and a half.

Okay what exactly didnt they do? Since you apparently know something and know how to fix all the issues in the game.... You know they already mentioned that the server is basically maxed out and so is the login server

However thats not how it always work....... if you seen this before you would know.

Iv seen plenty of times new bugs pops or server issues pop up after a patch goes live however they didnt see anything on their test server or when they check the stability of the server before flipping it back to live status

No one is talking about patch bugs... we're talking about the most basic function of an MMO... logging in.

I'm not on the complain incessantly bandwagon but yeah, 2002 is just as present as it was prior to the emergency maintenance, probably slightly worse.

Guys, the backup servers were just added to increase the amount of people the lobby servers could handle before giving the 2002 errors. from 17k to 21k in queue to login to world servers. Thats all that did, and that was a 30 min maintenance YESTERDAY morning. The one last night was the usual bugfix patch we get after every patch.


I had to sit in queue for 3.5 hours today after my PC crashed so i get it, but... theres nothing they can do at the moment.

The queue is fine for Tonberry. Its a lot faster. No 2002 errors. 2120 queue at 5.09pm, takes around 30 mins to get in.
