It took me 3 years to get the kills needed for my tiger. Its a long term goal, not a 1 patch goal lol

I think the emphasis here was the "not having access to the community that other players have built to make hunting as efficient and convenient as possible" vs just hunts being called completely at random

The emphasis is moot when I hunted on Balmung, where trains/standing around waiting for everyone and their mother to show up aren't the norm. It is and has always been doable, you just needed to be proactive, to get out and spend time looking for things to kill.

I'm sorry for your poor hunting experience and I hope things get better there someday, but "I have to suffer, so everyone else should too" is never a good reason to not try to make things better for everyone.

"I might have to grind!!?!" is a poor outlook to have when going into grindy content. Scouting is fun. I suggest it if you're going for achievements and want to guarantee a kill.
