Have you ever running into this situation where you see people are dying of thirst. You point to the pond next to them and call them stupid for not drinking the water in there ... without knowing the water is actually poison?

Just to give you some respective: I know several companies (through work) that have multiple division, with each division eclipse SE both in term of size and budgets. Those companies still have a 9+ months leadtime for their servers to be delivered, some had placed order since LAST YEAR.

And since you can't play anyway I would assume you have some free time, maybe you should use that time for some education purpose. May I suggest doing a bit of research on "different type of server" so next time you don't make an ignorant suggestion while making it sound like the obvious solution?

No Company, who's product is completely intellectual property is going to host that on servers they don't control. At least not without serious legal agreements in place that take more time to draft then this problem will last.

logged in 2 hours ago. only had 1k of people before me. then wile crafting. BOOM. your freaking server kicked me off. for lost connection. Tried to back in. get the freaking 3001 BS. closed out the program and relaunched. now at freaking 3k+.
What I want to know is. why there was not this problem before EW launch. then you took the servers down for 24 hours to patch. now he have these BS long ques. it is as if you actually turned something off and decided not to turn it back on

I hate that when you get disconnected it's back to the end of the line for those already been logged in. I guess there wasn't this problem before, because there was a good number of players on break and waiting to return once EW launched. That and the added need to play the new content while it's fresh. I wish it was as simple as an "on/off" switch.

I got home at 420est Cactuar que was 3800. Got to under 3k and hit with 2002 an hour later now it's 4600 sitting at 4250. I haven't been able to get thru a que since Friday without erroring. Only time I've been able to play has been overnight waking up 2 hrs before work which I agree is BS I don't mind waiting thru a que but getting kicked constantly is not cool at all I honestly don't think 7 days of time is enough, it's been 4 but guess we'll see

You posted at 4:54 so two hours earlier was 2:54pm. Yes, the login ques are much much much much much shorter at night or during the work day. Evenings and weekends are called "prime time" i.e. when the largest number of players want to play. It's just unavoidably this way because people work during the day and sleep at night. Edit: Evening ques are like 5000+ but last night by around 2AM the que was basically normal, less than a hundred on Aether.

JP and EU queue times in their primetimes are NOTHING like NA.. I have characters on every server, and nothing like NA. They could easily send a few physical towers from JP and EU for NA to use temporarily. They could also stress test the Oceanic servers with us.
