controller issues

So since the release of EndWalker I been having controller not respond in the game some times. I put it down to the servers being over flooded with players causing server lag. As time went on it was fine and only happened every now and then. 25th,26th and 27th of December I been playing quite late at night so server have not been busy and been getting in fine with max of only 50 in queue when load the game up. I noticed that when I load the game up some times the game buffers before loading in and this has always happened when I have the controller issues. The rest of the time I would just load straight to game cinematics. So the controller is connected properly and will work fine then randomly stop working with the game. I am clicked on the game and i go to system config and it won't see the xbox controller. Now the xbox controller is working because I can pop up the xbox app stuff with no issue by hitting the home button. I have to turn off the controller and turn it back on, then I have go system config and cycle between xbox button layout and ps button layout and then after I cancel the changes it will sync the xbox controller back on. This issue is becoming a major propblem because it happens when ever it feels like. It can be couple minutes of playing or in say 30 minutes to hour before I have issue with it again. Square enix needs to look inot why people controllers are disconnecting from pc window version of the game for no reason when controller working fine. I have no issues with the controller on any other game. I even closed steam down because some people said steam can causes issues with the game and still the problem continues.

Are you using a Firewall/Anti-virus solution? If so, which ones?
Does the issue only happen with specific characters or all characters?
Does an error message/code pop up when this issue happens?
Does the issue happen in a specific area, time frame or on a certain character? Is there some noticeable pattern? Please clarify.
Controller Make/Model:
Is the controller wired or wireless?:
Have you tried using a different controller for testing?
Do you have any other background programs or USB devices plugged in that may interfere such as Discord or another controller, etc?

Hi just to be clear I don't have a internet issue with connection. When I said I thought it was because of the server being busy the issue might be normal alittle but that doesn't seems to be the case. The only issue I have is the controller disconnecting from the game but is not actually disconnected on the pc.

- I can play wired or wireless and it would do this issue.

- north west england

- windows defender / fsecure

- issue happens regardless of character

-no error message code just not responding in game at all. Keyboard fine and can go to system setting to see the controller not detected but the controller is on device section of the pc.

- the issue can happen almost straight away or in a hours time. It tends to happen every few minutes for a bit and then i can go say 30-40 minutes before having turn it off and back on going into system setting and switching button layout between ps and xbox to get it to reconnect on the game. That the only fix I found other then closing game down and loading it back up.

- xbox elite series 2

- both wired and wireless

- I have used a other controller on the game and it the same issue. Like I said it something in the game that causes the issue either a port or something being off. It defo the game because it been getting hang up just on the game loading at the beginning and that when I know controller will have the issue at some point.

- Steam/discord/orgin / samsung magic / radeon software g hub / windows security / f secure. I can turn all these off and still have the issue though. I even reloaded the game after clearing files yesterday and the issue happened again.

Just a update over the last day while loading the game no hang up on the beginning of the launch up after signing in, it went straight to loading the game straight away. Also 0 disconnects on the controller. So it shows that there was some kind of bug in the game over last 4 days.
