Request: Paladin Requiecast stacks display in Job Gauge

So. We have a RPR who has Enshroud Ability which gives him 5 stacks and he needs to consume Lemure Stacks by using skills and they have a finisher for that phase with Communio which requires at least 1 stack and ends Enshroud. And they have it displayed on their Job Gauge.

Now PLD. Has Requiecast. Which gives 5 stacks. Which are also used for skills. And they have a finisher which ends Requiecast and at lvl 90 continues into a magic "Blade of" combo. These are not displayed in his Job Gauge.

These mechanics are as identical as they can be and yet PLD doesn't have the privilege of looking at glowy shiny balls of Requiecast depleting from his Job Gauge and instead need to look at his buff at a small number on top to see how much stacks left. Moreover - PLD gauge isn't really bloated with info or anything, RPR has both 0-100 gauge and stacks gauge. DRK has 0-100 gauge and DA stack. And PLD only has 0-100 gauge even though Requiecast is now more important than ever with his Confiteor combo. So it would be really nice to have Requiecast stacks displayed on PLD Job Gauge and it would make sense considering we have identical cases on other jobs like RPR.

    I agree.

PLD job gauge as it is now is pretty useless. I don't even look at it. To see if you have enough gauge to use stuff, you just look if the actions are usable. And with how good new Sheltron is, hell even Intervention in 8-men content, the risk of overcapping it is small.

And indeed either counting or looking at the buff stacks is not the most ideal. I usually count, and only look at the buff if for some reason I lost count, and I can't think of any other class where you actively have to count for something instead of looking at the gauge.

So yeah, adding a gauge for Requiescat stacks would be very much appreciated.

All selfbuffs should go to a job gauge instead of the buffbar, that is not only a paladin problem.

    This I agree.

(Looks at monk's Leaden's Fist buff and Twin Snakes buff (Disciplined Fist) which btw they change the latter icon to be the same color as the other)

Warrior Storm's Eye is a good example for that.

Can agree but to certain extent. Some things like Samurai buffs are pretty much self-sustainable and while you could potentially display them on Job Gauge it just would cause information bloat. Plus it's nothing that unforgivable to mistakes unlike being forced to timing exact last stack of some buff. If something revolves around executing combos or can potentially screw you - it should be displayed on Job Gauge. Like Black Mage AF/UI timers. If it were me I'd probably add RDM Fire/Stone procs to Job Gauge as well but it's easier to monitor (your button is glowing - press it) so it's not that big of a deal.

maybe "all" selfbuffs wasn't the right wording, but some consistency among the jobs would be welcomed.

Only if optional, please. I find the job gauges far more annoying to track most items of information from than the Status Effect bar.
