Reproducible client crash when Bluetooth headsets connect/disconnect with PC

Description:
When a Bluetooth headset is disconnected from a Windows PC, this can cause the game client to silently crash. In some cases, an error message appears.

This is notable due to the current long queue times, where a headset might not be able to remain connected for the length of the queue, or is disconnected as some part of a sleep function on the headset.

Frequency:
100% of the time

Repo Steps:
1. Pair a Bluetooth headset with Windows, being able to establish a connection with the device.
2. Log in through the launcher, and start the game client.
3. Turn on the Bluetooth headset, and connect with Windows.
4. Turn off the Bluetooth headset so that the audio device is disconnected.
5. Turn on the Bluetooth headset again, reconnecting the audio device.

If this does not reproduce the crash, try the following:
3a. Click on the Windows sound icon in the system tray, and change the audio output device from: "Headphones (Your Headset Name)" to "Headphones (Your Headset Name Hands-Free AG Audio)" or vice versa


Tested confirmed with:
- Bose NC 700 Headphones
- Anker SoundCore Spirit X

When my controller went to sleep in wireless mode, turning it back on crashed the game. Basically waited in queue to get into the game only for turning on the controller to crash the entire thing.

Got the same issue with my Sony WH-CH510 headset. If it crashes during queue I might be able to get back to the same spot, but if it happens when I'm already logged in, than I have to start the queue all over again. Happened quite a few times now during the past 3 days, once during the lvl83 trial when boss was at 2%. Didn't have a chance to log back in so had to do the trial all over again for MSQ progression.

My wife started experiencing this as well after 6.0 dropped. Originally with a Razer Kraken Kitty BT headset, then we borrowed a Steelseries Arctis 7 to test with and also had it happen with that headset as well.

Very frustrating to sit through a 4k person queue to get in and then immediately crash your game just by turning on your headset...

Been having the same issue since Endwalker launched--if I connect or disconnect my Bluetooth headset for any reason, the game crashes. Sometimes it provides an error message and sometimes it just closes to desktop.

Happening with bluetooth headset here too. Two crashes with error messages during queue when connecting headset in the last day or two, and one immediately after getting through the queue without error message just a few minutes ago. Hasn't happened before this.

Can confirm this has happened to me several times as well. For me it's when I turn off my headset while in game. I have the Bose QC35 Series II.
