We apologize for the delay in response to this issue. The error you are describing may occur when DirectX crashes. We suggest to perform a clean boot by opening the task manager and selecting the 'Start up' Tab. Then, Disable everything. Additionally, can you submit a Final Fantasy XIV system report? Simply go to the 'Config' option on the Final Fantasy XIV launcher and to the right of 'System Information' click on 'Display'.

STOP WITH THIS REPLY! I'm getting sick and tired of seeing this response on every single thread about this issue! There are SO many people having this issue! TAKE IT SERIOUSLY! It's been an issue for YEARS and you've been responding with the exact same response every time! And NO fix works! No! Reinstalling drivers does nothing. Clean boot does nothing. Reinstalling the game does nothing.l Installing the game on a different drive does nothing. Removing all peripherals does nothing! And when you've given this response and the next response that will be a "Clean boot bla bla bla" you will ghost this thread!

Every single one of these errors is FF14 on a clean reinstalled computer! YOUR GAME IS BROKEN AND YOUR IMPLEMENTATION OF DX11 IS BROKEN! And no! DX9 crashes just as often! It's been an issue for years! And it's the only game/software that people have issues with!
