I don't want my tail hidden either, that is why I stated that them cutting it off - which they did - is not a solution. Because having a tail through your cape would hinder movement, as well as look idiotic. Realistically, a forked cape, similar to the above healer set, shorter capes, or proper physics, would work. That or just remove the cape entirely, for tailed races.

This is a dev team that can't even figure out hats for two of the races when modders have had that done for over a year, expecting them to prevent clipping on tails may be a bit much (it's unacceptable, I know).

Keep your expectations on such things really low, until they prove themselves otherwise.

The alternative is having the caps bend over the tails like it WoW with the Draenei, Tauren, and Female Worgen (Maybe the newer Fox things too, idk I quit before then). I 100% prefer the tail clipping through as the cloak bending over the tail looks even more atrocious.

I’m never wearing any capes where my tail awkwardly clips through them rather than doing something else like being pushed down; I hate the clipping and it’s super distracting.

The bigger issue would be if the cape billowed THROUGH the tail and the fictional hole would move and not properly show. But if you have a Tail, you definitely need a hope to put the Tail through...

Why do you have holes in your shirts? For your arms. Trails are just extra limbs. So just pretend there's a hole in the cape that you put your tail through.

You will never get a toggle. Best get used to it. They could just modify the gear on tailed races and completely remove the cape from them, like how they alter gear between male/female sometimes.

A toggle would be great, but I just don't see SE doing it unfortunately. I don't see them removing capes for tailed races either, so the next best solution is for them to just stop making so much gear with capes, in my opinion.

Probably quite a few. Players have been asking for caped gear for years. SE has decided to provide it finally.

I don't know why anyone would want caped pieces, even if they didn't have a tail, as they don't have proper physics. To each their own.

Kind of sick of all the gear we're not allowed to have because of tails.

Yeah, if it has a cape, I just consider it unusable.

I solved that issue by turning into a race without tail, I feel free now.

Viera are the only non-tailed race I will actually play, and even then they have their own issues that are arguably worse.
