Where is the addional Inventory Space??

Maybe i missed something, but when i checked yesterday evening i didnt saw anything at all.

The Companion Bag is still the same, our inventory is the same, Retainers didnt get addional slots, there no new Tab for the FC Bank and our Glamour Dresser didnt got addional space.

Is this SE secret way to tell us we should hire addional retainers for money or what?


I sortet out my inventory before the expansion but with all the new stuff its still a bit tricky, especial for old accounts and chars that allready have collected a lot of different stuff. In wow you get atleast bigger bags with each expansion that you can buy from the Marketboard.

The increase was not to inventory but to the armory chest - belts were removed, additional spots for weapons and rings were added and some space has been kept in reserve for future use.

Also gathering mats and drops from monsters are now all NQ, no more HQ, which means only one space per stack for those items. If you still have HQ items you gathered or got from drops, you should lower the quality and stack them with your NQ items to save space.

As someone with an older account that also sorted my inventory, you are very likely holding onto far too many items that you will never use if you are having inventory problems. Dump the items you do not intend to use, or items that can otherwise be easily reacquired. If you're holding onto something you got more than a year or two ago "just in case," chances are it's become much easier to get if you ever actually do find you need it.

Check your armoury where you stores weapons and rings. They are longer than any other.


Though I think the additional slots for rings are kinda overkill. Unlike weapons where there are 20 combat classes + 8 crafters + 3 gatherers, even though you wear x2 rings, some are shared between roles (maiming, striking use slaying set; scouting/aiming uses aiming set), plus Blue Mage own ring set, you don't really use that much slots for rings.


Would much prefer they give 15 slots to weapons, then some to the left side. Though I'm not sure if this is a good idea cuz I look at this as a casual player. Maybe raiders would want more ring slots?

You are right i still have a lot of old stuff, but most of them are things like glamours, housing stuff, fishing baits and colours. Sure i have 2 retainers that still are complete empty and i could maybe discard the one or other thing but i wont do that. On my main i play all classes and crafters and gathers allways require more space because you save some of the mats you regulary need or valuable mats for example. It thought they would atleast increase the space of the glamour dresser so that i could put a bit more stuff in there but no. The addional armory space sounds good but its not something i regulary use. I own 1 item for each class and still had enough space left even before the expansion.

Still wish that they would stop giving us inventory slots... They are just a band-aid for the lack of a thorough glamour log.

Which is great but I honestly wish they'd put some of the new ring slots in the chest or pants slot instead. Just like, a row or two. Because I mean. I can't even see my rings at all half the time and actually have far less of them than any left side piece x.x oh well

I was thinking more that we really didnt need all those new weapon slots. we have JUST enough before, they only added two jobs but get 15 new slots? I would have been happier with 5 new mainhand, and maybe 5 each in chest and feet.

I have all jobs, that all fit, and I think had one or two extra spots for my main to have different looks. how many more weapons did they think we need to haul around? 15 is massive overkill.
