I still feel like they needed a villain other than Zodiark and (Hydaelyn) and made up this dynamis. Cause it isn't explained how dense dynamis is at all. We are just old she has sisters but we aren't told how they are created by Hermes. Like, how can you even create something from dynamis? It is just told it is an experimental creation by Hermes. But how can she be this strong if she is a lil tiny bit of dynamis herself that she can literally bring the end of the world? I mean we are told there is this another kinda energy at world called dynamis but we aren't told how large that energy is. Also, if we assume Zodiark was created by the "intention" to stop final days, it is logical it will since it is a primal and intention is key for summoning them (i think). But then again, why did they fear it and needed to keep it in check by creating Hydaelyn? In the flashback, it seemed like Venat just decided to create Hydaelyn just because. I think i just need to accept this is the plot.

Zodiark is there to promote dark aether, growth. Left unchecked that would be destructive as well, see the Void. Hydaelyn being weaker than him is actually important as that allows her light aether, stasis, to only slow him down rather than turn everything into a mess like the First.
