Im Kinda confused myself. Didn't they always say the sound where coming from inside the deepth of the Planet in Shadowbringers?

I discussed this in other thread (the ew lore megathread). I was hoping the whole thing to be a chthonic thing (the big evil dormant in the core of the world) instead of the interstellar thing it turned out to be. But that's a personal preference, I like the story, period.
