Still getting 2002 and 4004 after waiting over an hour in queue after Maintenance

I just got home from work. Tried to log in. 7k queue. Same as yesterday. They said they had installed new servers to increase the cap from 17k players to 21k, yet the same amount of players in queue instead of ingame? Makes no sense.

The Resolution for this Issue

We are now ready to deploy the backup development servers to the public lobby servers, which will improve the capacity management of the lobby server and raise the maximum number of players in the queue to around 21,000. Since this will not require any maintenance, we will err on the side of caution and proceed with the deployment outside of peak hours. It is scheduled to be completed late in the night of December 7, Japan time.

Well I just got two 2002 errors back to back in less than 10 minutes in queue, so whatever they did they made it worse.

Unless it's a weirdly phrased sentenced and what it means that now more people can get kicked off together at the same time, which feels it's what's happening now.

I got them too. They did add more servers but its for letting people queue in. From what I took it reads that youre in a 5000 queue, okay it updates and now its reading theres 21001 in queue gotta kick someone.
Idk anything about that kind of stuff. But the best way to combat it (still have to baby sit the queue and be on pc) is to open 2 clients, have 1 in the queue and the other on character select when the queue 2002s swap over and requeue, keep doing that until you get in. And then 90k 10s after you get in.

They installed new servers for the queue cap per data center, they did not increase the limit cap for players per world. They explained how the login system works and it's current design is to to prevent the worlds from crashing like it did during ARR to SHB. It's a countermeasure so those who are in-game don't get kicked out from the worlds going down.
