Yeah, Tonberry I believe is the unofficial oceanic server. So, its congestion makes a lot of sense. I am surprised by the fact that the japanese data centers aren't congested tbh lol
I was talking about playing on ifrit during Japanese times, between 2pm and later, no congestion.
INTRODUCING: "FINAL FANTASY MXVII: A REALM UNAVAILABLE" COMING SOON TO A PLAYSTATION CONSOLE OR WINDOWS PC...WELL..maybe..or..maybe not...then again maybe
No, we need the Data Center Visiting service that got pushed back for reasons.
I would agree, but I can't even get to my level 80 to jump worlds, Leviathan I was almost 5k in the que, got to 3500 and 2002, this really is horrible. Again, I wouldn't be so annoyed if we didn't get dumped by 2002 errors and we could just sit in que till it's our turn, I mean that sucks too, but getting kicked after an hour of waiting is horrible. I mean personally, I know I've been in que since early access began till now for at least 12 hours, most likely more.
I also want to know why the Japan servers, save for one that I heard about have very small to no que all the time, as I'm talking Japan time 2pm and much later (which is why I made one on ifrit and have yet to find I que if I get frustratedwith the US servers)

Well you are move from one world with a high queue time to another with a high queue time. Japan isn't bad right now because it's 8am in the morning.I would agree, but I can't even get to my level 80 to jump worlds, Leviathan I was almost 5k in the que, got to 3500 and 2002, this really is horrible. I have been living in Japan and have been playing on a Japanese server since July 2019. I can tell you that the NA population of this game is MUCH larger than the Japanese population now. Even during peak times here in Japan, I have seen queues of about 1000 people after the first day of early access, and I play on what is most likely the second most populated server after Tonberry (Kujata). Unfortunately, FF14's recent boom in popularity in the NA region is most likely the cause of the login/server issues now for NA players. It's nothing to do with hardware differences, special treatment, or anything like that.

Same hardware for way less load yeah they have a part of hardware differences, not saying it's special treatment but is NA or EU had the same no of subcount/servers they would not have the same isues.I have lived in Japan and have been playing on a Japanese server since July 2019. I agree, but as the development team mentioned recently in an announcement, they wanted to add more servers but couldn't due to global shortages of things they need to do that because of the pandemic. So they have done everything they can, but unfortunately the demand is too high at this time for what they are able to provide. I feel bad for all NA players, but this is something that is only partially fixable by the development team at this time.
