I agree. Shoulder tackle doing damage was fun, it had 2 stocks so it was mentally engaging to dump 1 for damage while holding onto the other 1 in case you actually need it for the gapclosing part. Thunderclap stinks, the animation is sick but taking the time to target somebody for your mobility works better on BLM where it belongs, since they can select who they want to tele to while they're casting.

I played around with MNK again last night and while positionals are the most obvious thing I miss, the loss of basically 3 oGCDs (and the gain of only one, the self-haste buffer) really feels like it slows things down and makes it less interesting. I'll be sticking to NIN or possibly giving DRG or RPR a whirl until something changes for the better.
