I'm aware this likely isn't a fix that can be done quickly... but having experienced what I just did, I find it quite necessary. I was finally starting to make some progression in the MSQ and made it to my first dungeon of Endwalker... only to have a Direct X11 crash my entire game leaving me in a 3,260 queue despite re-logging nearly instantly. Not only did this ruin my entire night, but it kinda ruined my excitement and experience for the very first dungeon of the expansion. Let's be clear, I'm running a beast: Geforce RTX 3080ti, i9 10850K, 80GB RAM, and a GODLIKE MSi motherboard with a liquid cooling system, and 3 SSDs... I don't even know how a DX11 error could occur. I do believe in the 7-8 years I've been playing this game that I have never experienced a DX-related crash...
Now for my recommendation. Those with abrupt disconnects should be granted priority queue.
This is a devastating event that could effect a player from coming back. I also really think logging into the game is a serious pain in general (Not relating to the high queues). Why is it that if we get a 2002, 4004, etc. error... it closes the entire game? Why not just return us to the title screen? Why does clicking that cursed "OK" when you get an error make you RE-DO EVERYTHING from scratch? Is it a security issue? Seriously. What's the deal? It's rough. Not only did I let down my party members by dropping, but it ruined my first dungeon in EW forever... I won't be enjoying it the same next time... I'll most likely be focused on hoping to God it doesn't happen again the next time instead of enjoying the experience...
Anyways... rant over.
TLDR: Priority queue should be given to abrupt disconnects (e.g., In a dungeon/raid/pvp)
