What will win out: Limsa or Sharlayan?

Limsa Lominsa has long been the de-facto gathering area for the vast majority of players. The close proximity of the market board, vendors, and retainer bell to the main Aetheryte has lead to many players having their home set to the Lower Decks, even after the additions of Ishgard, Hingashi, and the Crystarium.

Sharlayan is the first Aetheryte since the Limsa Aetheryte was moved to where it is now, to have the convenience of these things match or at least come close to matching that of the Lower Decks one. It even comes with beautiful aesthetics and the perks of being in current content, as well as a shard that leads right to the front door of the inn.

Will we see all our RPers, crafters, and AFK posers move to Sharlayan? Or is the Limsa tree and harbor view too powerful for Sharlayan to beat?

However i'll probably use Sharlayan more to avoid the crowds because of this.

Limsa is available at level 1.

Sharlayan is available at level 80.

Sharlayan for me. lvl 80 or no, that just means bots won't be around.

For me it will be whichever ends up being less crowded. I think probably Sharlayan because it's so far into the game. Also has an inn room next to an aethernet destination with no zoning required. (I do like the inn room there less, though...)

It really feels like Sharlayan was fully built for convenience of all the miscellaneous stuff you'd ideally want near the aetheryte.

limsa is a cesspool i've always preferred gridania, only time i go to limsa is when iam forced to via quest or otherwise and as soon as my business is done i teleport outta there and spend the next hour bleaching my eyes
