Some tips to help you login.

If you are on console, download the Playstation remote app to your phone or a PC if you are at work. If you dont have a phone or cant install it on your work PC, then install the Playstation remote app on a basic computer that you have at home, and then use the free google chrome remote desktop to connect to your PC and then open the Playstation remote app, through the web browser that you are remoted into from your work PC. That doesnt require you to install anything on the work PC just have google chrome.

If you play on Steam or PC, then remote desktop to the PC that you play FFXIV on and log in a few hours early using the above google remote desktop icon.

If you are having the error 2002 or getting "kicked out of line" you will have to babysit the queue while you are waiting, remotely or otherwise. If you are fast, and reconnect, you will not lose your place in line.

These tips will not avail me today. I seem to keep dropping packets enough today where i'm disconnecting every few minutes. It was fine this morning, but now i can make it through a whole queue, take 3 steps, and be at the back of the line again :l
